Celebrate: George H. White Day!

Update to previous announcement. Following the zoom program at 11 a.m., the audio of the documentary "George Henry White: American Phoenix” will air on WCPS radio 760 AM or 105.7 FM Saturday, January 29 at 1 p.m. You can tune in, online, from any location at to hear the entire program. Reminder: Earlier on Saturday, at 11 a.m. EST, you are invited to participate in the zoom event honoring George Henry White's historic Farewell to Congress. The history of Black voting rights suppression from Reconstruction to the white supremacy campaign of 1898 are echoed in the recent events of voting rights suppression and racial gerrymandering.
